As Managing Director Corporate Finance/M&A for ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, Aart Houwink obtained extensive transaction experience. He acted as lead advisor in countless domestic and international strategic transactions with a combined value in excess of EUR 5 bln.
Aart Houwink held several client management functions in ABN AMRO, including account manager for Corporate Clients in Rotterdam, Head of European Corporate Group New York and Global Head of Technology Clients. Was member of ABN AMRO's highest credit committee. Extensive knowledge of a broad range of banking products.
CFO/COO Global Clients ABN AMRO. This Business Unit (1000 staff) served the top 1000 clients of the bank worldwide, 2007 revenues amounted to EUR 2.9 bln. As CFO responsible for Capital Management (initiated and executed new Capital Management program), Strategy, Management Information, Budgeting, Cost Management, Performance Management, CRM, Organizational Structuring and co-ordination of group departments.
